What is “ene, mene, mini.”?

“ene, mene, mini. One baby in ten is born premature. Worldwide.” is a European-wide common campaign to raise awareness all around preterm birth topics and in particular special care and better family support for preterm babies.

What does “ene, mene, mini.” want to achieve?

ene, mene, mini wants to enable people to give preterm infants their voice! They can do this through online voting for better treatment and care of preterm infants. By voting, internet users endorse improved care of preterm infants and support a European ‘Call to Action for Newborn Health’ 

Who started “ene, mene, mini.”?

The campaign was first launched on the occasion of the World Prematurity Day on 17 November 2011 by the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants (EFCNI), the medical and safety company Dräger and with the strong support of European national parents associations.
